The American alligator is a fierce and patient predator. In the Low Country to Northern Florida the winters get cold enough for them to really go into brumation and stop feeding altogether.

Caesar came into my life at just 10 weeks old. One project I had in mind was introducing Caesar to a bird harness so that we could enjoy a whole new world of outings without having to lug around a bird carrier or a Pak-O-Bird. Pesto was already four years old when I first met him and the introduction to a harness was just not what a mature bird wanted to try and I had to respect that.

I personally don’t think so. An immense lack of respect for our planet is truly all I see. It’s also accompanied by hypocrisy. One flagrant example would be the Îles-de-Boucherville National Park
